School of Electronics and Information Engineering "New-Generation Intelligent Information and Communication Technology" International Summer School Activities (IV) —Closing ceremony

At 9:00 a.m. on July 31, 2026, the closing ceremony of the School of Electronics and Information Engineering New-Generation Intelligent Information and Communication Technology International Summer School was held in Lecture Hall 30012 of the Electrical Machinery Building on Campus One. Hu Mengqi, Deputy Secretary of the SEIE Party Committee; faculty member Liu Jinlong; Li Hongzhi, head teacher of the International Summer School; Dr. Li Xiaobao, instructor of the summer school's practical course; and head teacher assistant AYUKOCHA GANDHI attended the closing ceremony.

At the ceremony, the participants first watched a highlights video of the undergraduate International Summer School, and Li Hongzhi gave a summary of the program. Then, SALVADOR RAMON ESPINOSA MERINO of the University of Seville, BEN ABBOU RAOUIA of Dalian Polytechnic University, and NGUYEN MINH ANH of the Foreign Trade University of Vietnam spoke on behalf of the international participants; Hu Yutong of Jilin University spoke on behalf of participants from other domestic universities; and Qian Cheng of Harbin Institute of Technology spoke on behalf of HIT's own students. Finally, Deputy Party Secretary Hu Mengqi delivered an address, congratulating the International Summer School on its complete success, thanking the participants for traveling great distances to HIT to take part, and thanking the team of experts invited by the school and its Young Faculty Association for the wonderful frontier lectures and courses they brought to the participants. She welcomed the students to return to Harbin Institute of Technology and to the School of Electronics and Information Engineering for further study in the future, and wished the International Summer School ever-greater success.

During this International Summer School, participants took part in four frontier technology lectures, one frontier technology course, and one independent experimental course. In their spare time, visits were organized to the HIT History Museum and the HIT Space Museum, giving participants a deeper understanding of HIT's fine educational traditions, rich cultural heritage, and brilliant achievements, while social activities strengthened the friendships among the participants.

With this, the 2026 School of Electronics and Information Engineering New-Generation Intelligent Information and Communication Technology International Summer School came to a successful close. We wish all the students continued breakthroughs and even greater success in their future life and studies.
