Professor, Doctor supervisor
He was born in February 1972, and studied in CS department of Harbin Institute of Technology from 1989 to 1998. In 1998, he got Ph.D. from computer application technology specialty. After graduated, he joined Microsoft Research China as an associate researcher, and gone back to CS department of HIT as a teacher in June, 2000. In March 2001, he founded HIT information retrieval lab. His main research interest lies in natural language processing and information retrieval. He has been in charge of 8 state-level or ministry-level projects, and published more than 30 papers in relevant areas
