I joined School of Computer Science and Technology at Soochow University as an assistant professor after obtaining my PhD degree from Research Center of Social Computing and Information Retrieval (SCIR), School of Computer Science and Technology, Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) in April 2013. Since 2008, I have been focusing dependency parsing. So far, I have worked on joint POS tagging and dependency parsing (EMNLP 2011, COLING 2012, IEEE/ACM-TASLP 2014), multiple treebank exploitation (ACL 2012), semi-supervised parsing based on ambiguity-aware ensemble method (ACL 2014), and semi-supervised parsing with soft syntax projection (COLING 2014).

Recently, my major concern is how to improve parsing performance on web data, with the help of large-scale unlabeled or bilingual texts.

My research interests include Syntactic Parsing, Natural Language Processing, and Machine Learning.
