I am currently a doctoral candidate at Harbin Institute of Technology, affiliated with the center for Social Computing and Information Retrieval (SCIR), supervised by Ting Liu. From 2015 to 2016, I am a joint Ph.D student at the Text Information Management and Analysis Group (TIMAN), University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), supervised by ChengXiang Zhai. I am interested in Text Data Mining and Biomedical Informatics. Earlier, I have worked on informaiton security.

Education

My bachelor thesis is "Design and Realization of a Chinese Word Segmentation System". When I was doing my Master degree, I worked on information securuty with my partner Wang Ding. At that time, I did some researches on network attacks & defending, secure authentication protocol and software security. My Master thesis is "Research of Secure Socket Layer MitM Attacks and Defending".
