金山印象

期待了这么久,终于有机会去金山公司一见。我参与一个合作项目的开发,老板带着我去面见负责该项目的林总和吴先生,我便有机会走入金山公司——一个我喜爱、崇敬的软件公司。

我在96年接触计算机的时候,用的第一款办公软件就是金山WPS。当时在学校的机房里面,看着黑白屏幕蹦出来的几个汉字,感觉真是太神奇了。后来才知道那是SPDOS的功劳,教会了计算机处理中文。后来在《电脑报》的合订本上读到求伯君开发WPS传奇:WPS在当时中国桌面办公软件独领风骚;还读到雷军“黄玫瑰小组”的故事,年少的我就像崇拜武侠小说中的大侠一样在心中留有对英雄的敬畏。金山公司的名字就这样被我熟知,被那一时代的中国电脑迷熟知。

上了高中后,很少再看《电脑报》了。对于IT界的风云变幻,我了解甚少。上了大学,有一次机会亲眼见到金山雷老大的风采,能够亲耳听见心目中英雄的精彩演讲。不是慷慨激昂的宣讲,不是图片罗列的幻灯片演示。雷总用一个个耐人寻味的故事,娓娓道来金山的发展中的坎坷与快乐——让我感受到一个有血有肉的金山公司。

金山的前台居然在顶楼。天花板是巨大的球面,整个空间非常开阔;周围悬挂着“封神榜”、“剑侠”等数款游戏的广告。可惜我没有相机,Carl居然没有带DC,在Kingsoft的金字招牌下留影的想法只能留到下一次了。

见到负责项目的经理后,和我原来想的确实不一样。没有西装,没有领带;言语幽默,令人容易亲近。借这次机会,我还见到了一直与我保持联系的Daning——一个高大帅气的小伙。他是金山公司的干将之一,负责与这个项目的安装和界面的实现。这次见面一定会使我们今后的合作更加畅快。Anson老板和金山的经理谈过后,许多问题迎刃而解;合作的方式更加明朗,更加符合双发的情况。不知道要是发邮件达到这个效果,得花多少时间。达成共识后,Anson回哈尔滨,我留下了协商一些细节。

这次去金山公司,不仅仅是新奇,还有一些亲切的感觉。一是缘于金山的宽松的文化氛围:某部门的经理穿着拖鞋出来会见;周末还有不少员工工作;员工之间直呼名字,相互之间说些笑话。二是我的一个兄弟——老五——在这里就职。原来想到金山后再来个突然袭击,后来实在忍不住就告诉他。哥们儿见面分外亲。相互之间少不了嘘寒问暖,工作忙不忙,学习累不累。老五变化不小,头发长了,皮肤也白了,似乎还有点高了,更加帅气了。我知道,他已经融入了金山的环境;才半年,就变成地到的金山人了。

金山创造过神话,也有过英雄没落的叹息,但是金山不缺少能够创造神话的英雄,就像求伯君、雷军、朱传靖一样许许多多的英雄,金山一定会成为真正的金山。在我心中,金山公司一直都是令我崇敬的公司;现在我还会很自豪地说,我的兄弟在金山。
