车万翔博士圆满结束对美国斯坦福大学为期一年访问归国

应Chris Manning和Dan Jurafsky教授邀请，我实验室车万翔博士/副教授于2012年1月开始对美国斯坦福大学自然语言处理组为期一年的访问研究工作，并于近日归国。访问期间，双方主要开展了依存句法分析以及机器翻译方面的合作研究。目前已合作发表顶级国际会议论文三篇，并在Google组织的SANCL2012互联网句法分析评测中取得了依存句法分析任务第二名的好成绩。期间双方还进行了研究人员的交流互访。通过此次访问，双方加深了相互的了解，对于促进今后更深入的合作起到了积极作用。

美国斯坦福大学自然语言处理组是世界上最优秀的自然语言处理研究单位之一，现有教授3人，博士后5人，博士生15人。 著有《统计自然语言处理基础》（Foundations of Statistical Natural Language Processing）、《信息检索导论》（Introduction to Information Retrieval）、《自然语言处理综述》（SPEECH and LANGUAGE PROCESSING）等在自然语言处理和信息检索领域具有广泛影响的教材。 其所开发的一系列自然语言处理工具（JavaNLP）广为使用。
